MDP TEAM expands its machine park:

Arrival of 4 new electric DEMAG presses :

• a DEMAG 50 Tons press
• a DEMAG 130 Tons press
• a DEMAG 180 Tons press
• a DEMAG 220 Tons press

MDP TEAM has chosen to expand its machine park with 4 new electric presses for energy reasons, but also for economic and technical reasons.
An electric press is indeed much less energy consuming than a hydraulic press. But it is also more precise, faster and especially more reliable.

Reduction of maintenance costs:

Unlike hydraulic presses, electric injection molding machines eliminate the need to use hydraulic oil. This significantly reduces operating costs and associated maintenance issues. In addition, electric presses are equipped with advanced monitoring and diagnostic systems. This facilitates early detection of problems and allows for quick interventions, thus limiting downtime and repair costs. In fact, it is estimated that the maintenance cost of an electric press is approximately 70% less than a hydraulic press.

Reduced energy consumption:

Thanks to their advanced technology and sophisticated control systems, electric presses also have better energy management, leading to significant savings. In addition, electric presses are often equipped with speed and pressure control systems. This makes it possible to optimize energy consumption by adjusting these parameters, depending on the specific needs of each injection. As a result, it is estimated that electric presses can generally offer energy savings of up to 50% compared to traditional hydraulic presses.
